I've been sticking with ER to see it through to the end, though I have read shockingly little of the latter-day threads, particularly the Hephaestus nonsense and what have you. It's been an unwieldy and ailing beast at the best of times these past two years, and it's more than a little telling that the past three or so missions have been running into serious motivational issues. I kind of like the present thing we're doing, though, nonsensical deathcube derailment aside, so whether you want to kill it now or keep it going for a little while longer is up to you, PW. If you really feel sick of the whole thing at this point, probably better to just go for the epilogue.
As for a reboot, sure, why not? I'm lacking any real interest in ORO myself, given that it seemed to contain all the things I didn't enjoy about modern-day ER and latter-day Perplexicon. And if you can run it low-maintenance like Infinite Heavens, except with a clearer goal beyond "let's go exploring!" and a more comprehensible setting, that'd work pretty well for me.
I've been here since ... 2013 I think? I don't recall anymore. A while by now.
How long have I been here? Let's ask old me.
I've been lurking here since the second half of Mission 2, finally decided to register on the forums to sign up for this RTD. It is that good.
Here's the character sheet:
Name: known as "Little Timmy", doesn't have a registered name.
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Appearance: A short, stocky man with light brown skin, around 5 feet and 2 inches tall. Has a shaved head. Most notable facial feature is a thick, black unibrow. Definitely not an attractive individual by any conventional standard.
Personal information: Born in poverty, Timmy's life is generally unremarkable up until the age of 14, at which point he turned to a life of crime. After several years of abject failure in freelance work he managed to join a local criminal organization, serving as a thug and general errand boy. Not being particularly bright, he didn't manage to advance beyond such work in all the years until his eventual capture by the authorities at age 29. Charged with a great many crimes, he was given a choice to either face 20 years in prison or volunteer for some fancy community service program that could potentially guarantee an early release, full pardon and acquisition of new skills. Not being very bright, he chose the latter option - the HMRC.
Reason for assignment to HMRC: Several proven counts of theft, destruction of property, assault, one count of murder, suspected of involvement in at least 5 other murders and many other crimes.
