I don't like this, man. Both because I don't think even the supervets combined can put a dent into the Lurker, and because I always look real bad in photos.

Gonna depend on what we're given to work with, probably. Don't even know for sure yet what alien it is (Lurker seems likely, but maybe pw will mix it up and give us another one to throw ourselves at).

NOw we just need a training montage. alternating between supervets throwing progressively more and more ridiculous attacks at the lurker, normal vets cobbling together the giant death penis to end all giant death penises out of everything we've ever encountered, and the newbies faffing about trying to find a nice universe for us to skedaddle to. All with some kind of 80/90 music in the background.

Sure sure, this mission is basically done anyways. All we would have to do is wait for the super vets to punch a few more guys. So everyone will get paid and then we'll continue on.

I suppose anyone promised to other missions first could go there. This is in general.

We're not killing a god with the weapon in so much as we're enacting a scorched earth policy.

Sorry to be persistent, but I'd kinda like to know as soon as possible whether or not I'll need to plan out a whole new set of equipment for just this last mission or not.

Possibly because when the M26 team summoned a second Lurker by accident, I killed it with explosives the next turn.  While the current alien menace has been happily chugging along while under a continual nuclear barrage from over forty full size warships.

Have fun, you guys!  Saint'll just be prepping his own evac somewhere on the opposite side of the system.
