I have to say, I actually really like the idea behind this radio chatter thread. It gives the mission a really chaotic feel and the sense that no one really knows what’s going on. Anyone else think this is a positive?

Sure. Not necessarily a good thing if we want to have any idea what to do though.

I don't personally, it just pushes PW's old problem of there being to much RP onto everyone else. I mean, I don't know how much RP there was in missions I wasn't on, but it never seemed like there'd be enough to make every turn take a lot longer.

I don't mind it overly much.  But perhaps each team should have a chatter thread, with the current chatter thread remaining for inter-team communication?  The number of threads would begin to spiral out of control, however...

Well, pretty much... But you get to keep your equipment, at least.

Everyone on Typhoon should have a sharksuit, electronades, goop grenades, Stun stick, Aster-ex w/detonators, and a flare gun w/flares. I figured this way everyone would at least have some sort of basic protection and form of deterrence from baddies. It is mission equipment so use it or lose it, but...yeah. All of your purchases are for naught. At least for now. But as Nun said, at least you get to keep yours.
