@trial: one of the big reasons I thought it'd be better to have it be a small-scale affair (aka people represent themselves, and just board of generals or so to ask questions and determine the outcome) is because I think this would take a massive amount of time otherwise. I mean, coordinating something like this among maybe a dozen or more people (if we went the full monty, with prosecutors and lawyers and a jury etc), with different timezones and stuff, would take more than a week, maybe even two or more. And since pw usually wants to get on with the new missions ASAP (or at least somewhat expedient), that could be problematic. Not to mention it'll be that much more work for whoever tries to oversee/coordinate it.

New mission set is still being worked on (or so I heard in IRC), so we have some time for organizing lynching mob.

If you are going to use the pill machine to fuck the universe again why not go all the way and give it to somebody who is already an anomaly and give the pill to Cthunkan? they're a veteran and they're multiple minds, which could help them control it. Sure they might become an evil alien space god, but at leasts they'ed be OUR evil alien space god.

@RC: If you're afraid it would take too much time, then isn't the best solution to that problem to start it ASAP? If you spend time not starting the trial worrying about how you can save time, then you might end up wasting more time than you save.
