Wait guys I just realized this is the very first time Duel has been used for its intended purpose in the history of ER.

The only way to create an eruption via microwave amp is to vaporise a significant amount of rock in a likely extremely complex and precise series of attacks designed to increase the magma pressures to critical levels and then open a fissure to the surface...

something you lack the skill and stamina to perform, even if you knew where to strike.

Well, successfully at least. There were the attempted Duels, where the person trying it spawned as a seven-foot tall cactus with a laser rifle nestled in its branches fighting a sentient bowl of chow-mein on the dark side of Uranus. And Empyrean trying to fight AI Renen, except it spawned them in the bedroom of a hotel.

Well yes but this is the first time two actual players have fought each other in Duel rather than just player vs. computer.
