I like it more, if thats anything to go by. But then again, generic fantasy always kind of bugs me.

Plus Skyrim really ticked me off with the fact that its "Force lightning" style spell was so damn weak. I'm a big fan of continous spells like that so the fact that I can basically never use it was annoying.

I use all my purified water for goddamn vegetable starch.

Can never have enough adhesivey goodness.

And the scavenger stations are bomb. Nothing says "great" like a provisioned settlement producing nothing but scavenged goods.

Yeah, the protagonist having a voice actor was always a bad idea.

"Cat."

Also, silent protag for the win: Chell and Gordon 4evah. they need to do a Half Life where HE has the gravity gun, she has the portal device, and they have to fight his enemies in a sort of mechanical, steampunk dimension full of cubes, long corridors, and impossible terrain.

I'm sure someone has already said that.

"Cat."

Sorry for being incommunicado for... like a month.  Full time student + part time job = little free time.  I'll probably be active after finals... so like three weeks.   :/

Hahahaha.  All you fools bought a Bethesda game on release?  Ha.  I have refrained from buying F4, because I just know in a couple of months there'll be mods to fix the bugs, and mods to make everything better.  Those much-lauded features like customizable guns, and town-building?  I could do those things in New Vegas.

In unrelated news, a little while ago I modded Dark Souls to have hyper aggressive enemies.  It's pretty fun, and makes the third playthrough more interesting.  I'm considering asking for DS2 for Christmas.  None of this is joking, I'm 100% serious.  ):

Ds3 is coming out soon into the new year, might as well wait. DS2 is...underwhelming.

Well, you know how Maurice's ex-girlfriend is now eating reality?  And you know how it came from someplace outside the universe? We'd like to send you into a few places like that.

To do some house shopping.

Oh god, I see it now. "This one is only non-euclidean structures for 199k! What a bargain!"

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Huh, I wonder what Simus has to do with
Hey, it doesn't count, it was a one-time thing at best! We were interrupted! I don't even know his - her - its name!
He/She/It means nothing to me!..

Also, woo, metaverse-shopping! I wonder if we would fare better on our own or if humanity should first find a good local real estate agent?.. :P

I wonder if any of the various intelligent alien species would be willing to help us, or at least stop killing humanity long enough for us to have a better chance. Also, how are the other species faring now?

I think we'd have to stop killing them first. Bit late for a lot of those, not likely for the rest.

I guess there's always those brontasaur llamas I researched forever ago. We could try dropping from the sky, informing them that we're hideous aliens that have been watching them for a while, arm them with our technology, and then realize it probably would have been faster and more harmonious to do that on one of the hick worlds we already control as opposed to these new guys.

kinda did always like oblivion and morrowind over skyrim. Skyrim had it's good parts, oblivion and morrowind did things a lot better.

more mutliverse than metaverse. If we were metaverse shopping, Maurice would question Nikitian's sanity, and Dester would hate Ozarck's guts.

drop Heph's thermophage in there, see what happens.

Also, I'd just like to say it ... M23: success!
