Honestly depending on what you can consider personality retention, the actual Xan died a long time ago. From another viewpoint, he's never been more alive.
He/it of course subscribes to the latter interpretation, more or less.

But she/he/it is working toward the goals Xan set for himself so long ago, retains all of Xan's memories, and is pretty much only disguising him/her/itself as Vanessa to achieve one of those goals. Whether Vanessa becomes a real person entirely depends on some things that happen when that goal is achieved.
That's all far off in the future though.

As far as I know you can set up custom stats in the rpg maker interface. Is the game going to be considered cannon pw, and if so will it take place now or in the future/past.
