That anomaly dimension seems to bring material and mental worlds unusually close to each other. Maybe we can exploit that. Or let the alien god do its thing and wait until it's more vulnerable.

If amps are part of the god of this universe and that thing is the god of another universe, then our amp users might be considered as clerics, bringing forth the power of their god. So maybe the reason that using amps on the foreign god is a good idea is because it's like getting him to notice our god and getting our god to notice it. Have him tell him "Yo dude, that's my universe. I saw those tasty humans first. And called dibs.". And since the most potent expression of our universe's god is an overload, that means you should all overload your amps.
