RC is right- it's probably time for the Glory Device.

Let's see, Pancaek has a +4 in mind and a +4 in exotic and he barely managed to shield his team from a nuclear blast.  Lyra has a +2 in mind and a +3 in exotic, and she has brain damage probably reducing some stats.

Yeah, I've started drafting my second character.  I probably should have started as soon as the arbiter showed up.

Well, that turn pretty much solidifies what this situation is, but not how you're going to get out of this. In fact... I'm kind of glad I'm not on the Sword right now.

GL, guys. Pretty sure this entire mission is a massive trap from which you will never emerge :P

There is a very simple way to potentially gain an advantage over the arbiter. Unfortunately, Flint has no IC knowledge of that, although he can probably figure it out... Guess I'll put it in my action once we figure out what we are going to do, see if it works.

Any chance you could ship Renen down to the colony?

I'll either reveal my plans when it is time to execute them or when I can no longer execute them. Because it's no fun otherwise. But it involves Steve and some duct tape. You should know by next turn.

I just thought of something else. Lyra is invisible, very light with silent feet, has an invisible attack and is really, really quick. She could pose a real danger to the arbiter, assuming she acts smart, gets lucky and that the arbiter doesn't have advanced senses (judging from Renen, he doesn't). Or she could just run away while the arbiter is busy killing the rest. Lenglon should be back this week, so she'll probably have a chance to post an action. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Edit: And if it wasn't clear, I really think the manipulator overload is a bad idea.

If things go poorly, you could always ask to become the avatar of steve. For as long as your body can handle it.

Of course this happens the first time I go on a mission. :P

That said I'm the medic, I have a legit excuse as to why I'm not fighting.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Don't Arbiters of Peace have skulls resembling that of a horse's? The one in Mission 22's skull resembles that of a human.
