By the by, I'm thinking of giving names to my brains. I'll have 2. I'm thinking either a magician/wizard theme (eg Merlin) or naming them after people who died under Miya's command (eg Michael). Any (other) ideas?

Also, I decided to treat the brains IC the same as amp specialists. Basically the same utterly-handicapped existence for the sake of fulfilling their function and serving their side. But still humans, and not equipment.

So... as puzzling as it is, I have to agree with "Brain 1, Brain 2 etc."; maybe some military call signs or designations in the vein so familiar to your character ("Brain Alraune, Brain Basilisk, Brain Chickatrice, ...." ). Definitely not names, unless you'd learn the real ones somehow (and even then I am not sure they would want to be called by the names of their previous lives).

I oppose labelling Nekarios (Nick) as Dishonored dead.

He blew himself up, killed you, killed several thousand people down stream, maimed the heck out of several teammates and reduced the area to a molten crater.

But he did single-handedly take down all the opposition in the area and light a new if short-lived sun! Not to mention the setting the very first hyphen-nine event! The whole mission success belongs to him.
I mean, if we the 'Corpspeople want to remember people as good or bad maybe we can? Or, well, how about we just leave all of our casualties without general labels and let each case speak for itself. That way, say, Jim would still be honored as our lost hero General, and we can agree to disagree on whether Nick (or Stacy, ooh, how could I miss that one poor cool guy who was nothing but a victim of circumstances!) are to be considered Dishonored dead.

Or... actually, I can accept "Dishonored dead" label as-is if we just decide not to consider them less notable than "Honored dead". They kinda did die in a dickish way (most of them, anyway), so there is no reason to deny their negative status; still, many of them did die in a cool enough way to be remembered by future 'Corpsmen and that is all that matters.
