Lenglon: I asked PW on IRC, and he's a bit uncertain about Weird Vision. The R&D people have info on it, but not enough to remove the occular combustion, amnesia and strange figures. Apparently it "might destablize the game and potentially unleash demons upon the world".

Okay, time to followup on some of these.

• Amp-based sensing requires a space magic facility (we're still building it I believe) and skill in EXO. Weird vision is a bit of a no go area right now as it might unleash demons and ruin everything forever.
  
• The teleportation system cannot be used as a personal mobility system unfortunately as it would rip the user apart. Also, if an object gets teleported into something else, the matter compresses and then explosively decompresses in a dangerous explosion.
  
• A (theoretically) silent melee weapon is possible using teleportation technology. It functions a bit like an icecream scoop by teleporting away a small amount of matter from around what it hits, effectively 'freeing' a chunk of matter with minimal energy usage. Against a person, it could remove chunks of flesh or give impromptu, poorly delivered lobotomies (which might actually give a perfectly silent way to kill enemies quickly at close range). Against armor, well, unless they're sporting something really strange, it can just free a chunk of armor that will proceed to fall out. If the armor is thin enough that the chunk has no significant amount of armor behind it, a kinetic amplifier attached to it could probably just drive the armor chunk in like a bullet.
  
• It is probably possible to make an adapter that adapts an energy weapon's power source for another energy weapon.
  
• Using taped recordings of people with decent CHAR screaming curses into a microphone, unfortunately, is not capable of berserking people.
  
• The plasma projector indeed utilizes some kind of space magic to hold it's bolts together. It simply is not possible to hold those together using just electromagnetism after all (since the fields must be generated by the bolt itself). This must be investigated further.
