I probably should read the Hephaestus thread in full, I think.

Yeah, it really helps in these discussions to be up to date on the various things that go on.

I have this unfortunate tendency of getting way off track in arguments. I'll try not to do that in the near future.

That's not just you, the nature of forums seems to easily accommodate people going on a tangent or getting lost in a sea of arguments about small pieces of someone else's point in between the original debate and then more people jump in and before you know it, word salad.

I think we could try to keep arguing as we are, but to be more obvious in intention. Being more literal and clear, perhaps to make up for information lost due to no non-verbal communication (at least, it seems RL conversations suffer from this less, though it certainly happens. Perhaps because you can only keep one conversation track going, so you can't go on a tangent while continuing the main debate, unlike a forum where you can discus as many things at the same time as the character limit and your sanity will allow).

The two newbs and Lyra got one. You could carry Jim, if he'll let you, but since you're going in first it might not be optimal. Maybe he and Renen are fast enough on their own.

'new threats each time you play' = zero actual content, merely generated results.

'brutal encounters and impossible odds' = either pay to win, non player-centric gameplay, or heavy matchmaking guaranteeing trivial difficulty.
