I certainly wouldn't price it down much; no less than 10 or so, because it's a very strong "anti-screwup" tech; remember it rerolls 2s as well.  Certainly it's a lot better than the fibroblast or partition therapies.

It gives you a chance to reroll, not a straight reroll as far as I can tell, or at least it used to. The description's a little confusing right now.

Well, Mesk decided to practice medicine on her father, performing a flying kick that slammed his head into the dinner table, killing him. She, along with her mother started screaming. Mesk tried to calm the latter down, well, the roundhouse kick to the neck technically succeeded in doing, though rather permanently. Then shit happened and Mesk saved the girl when the actions of his group set her house on fire. He then proceeded to forget about her and carry her around for the rest of the mission, the accidental kidnapping saving her from the series of events that massacred the rest of the town.

She was then adopted by the crew of the Sword of Paracelsus.

Yeah, though previous actions and eccentricities also affect the specifics of overshots to an extent, hence why Mesk is one who has ever crushed a comrade's ribcage with a stomp whilst screaming "The power of medicine compels you!".

You know paris, for some reason, I knew you were going to oppose the plan with a different one. But don't think that because Miya doesn't agree with it, that that means I don't appreciate the effort!

Yeah, like I said in the post, I did that partly because it seemed like the best strategic plan (which I then realised doesn't matter much since piecewise is not running a strategy game and thus will not model the enemy's reactions to such an extent) and partly because I wanted a chance to do something different and interesting, to make a difference instead of posting the same "shoot enemies and buildings" actions as everyone else, like in the defense mission. But don't worry, I've thought of several creative ways of building destruction and experiments I could do with the rainbow cannon.

Well this should be an interesting turn...

I give it a 70% chance of survival...
Loudly issuing retreat orders so squidminions shouldnt shoot straight away.
Lobbing goop grenade which should prevent them firing upon me/us, especially if it captures a squidminion or two.
Goop filling halway should prevent "immediate" pursuit, if any occurs once they breach past it and find an abandoned portal.
My shield and armor have been proven to survive small arms fire, so im... less at risk than some of you if they do start shooting.

All in all this looks like its gonna be fun, anyone know what were actually supposed to be doing though?
