Isn't space magic shenanigans 70% of the reason people die, with poor decisions making up the other 90%?

Also, I've now been waiting for years for ruleset and the overpriced miniatures of ourselves to collect. Piecewise promised it to be available some day once upon a time.

Well, Steve will vent the inmate section. By venting I mean completely eject it from the ship.

So does Piecewise roll all the dice, or do any on the players ever roll their own dice for something?  Because I figure it should take either intuition to realize shit's about to go down, or dexterity to avoid shit, both of which are -1.  Then there might be an endurance roll, depending on the previous roll.

PW rolls all the things. He's somewhat recently stopped showing the rolls in general, just to make things cleaner to look at.

I believe PW telling you you can respond is his way of saying 'You all notice this is happening.' So run away and hope for the best, unless you have some other angle? I find space magic is often the best defense for space magic.

@Piecewise Out of curiosity, is it within the realm of practically possible for us to stop such overloads with counter-effect space magic, like the amp specialist did? Or is it something out of our weight class entirely? Actually, would he be able to cope with an overload at all?
And then, can an overload be canceled out (mostly) with another overload of opposite effect?
