To those on diplomacy mission, I would personally suggest the method of letting you be kicked out and then killing the UWM, then returning.

Or you could just have Steve nuke all their comms. And maybe them. I prefer that method.

That's why we need to learn more about their QEC-net and of ways of compromising it. Because right now our options are "Nuke it from orbit" or "Leave and hope we can find an alternative or launch a covert mission" or "Just attack anyway" and upon failure we'll have to send more troops to disable it. And the nuke it from orbit option might not work because QEC devices can be as small as a backpack and be carried by anyone. Or for all we know, it doesn't even matter at this point, because they have sent a message that says "If we do not communicate and give you the correct code in <amount of time> assume the planet has been taken over". So maybe our best option is to capture that guy alive or at least with his head intact and either extract the required info or just mind control him into doing whatever we need him to do to convince them that everything is fine.

I just looked at the wiki page for the armoury and holy crap that's a lotta cool stuff, especially in "misc".

SC/Piecewise could maybe update their armoury lists with some of this stuff, like invisibility cloaks and anomaly suits and smoke grenades.

Well, it means that the old armory stuff lists are no longer the armory stuff lists, and are discontinued, and players are advised to consult with wiki pages if they want to buy anything.
Sure, one short dump is very easy and next to nothing in terms of effort required, but the idea is that no one cares any more about the old empty misc category.
Or so I am led to believe.

What do you mean? The link to the armoury list is on the font page of the wiki which is in PW's first post of the on ship thread.

Very closely. For one, it's simply much easier to not do it, since even if the dump is done, it'll become outdated in the not very distant future anyway as either I or some other enterprising soul get their shit together and resume adding things to the wiki list.

Also, the armory list that PW has there is the actual list that has the prices set in stone - the elementary list. The extra stuff in the wiki, especially in misc, is just on-the-fly stuff PW improvised when somebody wanted to know something about other possible types of equipment, and those prices are subject to change, as are the objects in question. For instance, the Protectorate Suit still doesn't seem to have a definite price tag, and neither does a lot of the other stuff. If PW actually does get around to starting to add the misc stuff to the official armory list, there's a good chance he'll have to do a lot of price reviewing at that point, and even ponder balancing to a point. Plus some of that stuff, like Milnoplate, is entirely custom.

Overall, might want to ask PW (or SC, since the armory list on the on-ship thread is from his post, if I recall correctly) to add a link to the wiki armory list at the bottom of the regular one instead of laboring over adding the stuff in.

Also, that link's not hard to find, as TT just mentioned. Though I guess if you can't see the wiki due to some reason I could understand your complaint.

Speaking of the Misc section, I think I should get the medical gene mod. I think it would fit the character.
