Tomorrow mission 14 is coming home. I'm gonna transport them back to the ship and then immediately debrief them. Then, I'll post the mission briefs for the next missions right after that. From that point on I'm going to be handling ONLY that briefing and the actions of people getting ready for the missions until they're off and away. This will let me post more, and get missions started faster. So: other threads post as normal, but just know I won't get to you for a day or two. ON SHIP: post ONLY if you're going on one of the missions. Everyone else, take a deep breath and wait for a bit.

((sean, you could consider building it on another celestial body instead of Hep or space. Migh be easier to set up a self-sustaining base that way. We could have a SCIENCE! moon.))

One of the ideas I had (if Pyro lets me go to Hephaestus) was starting a secondary base on the moon or an asteroid for capital ship building. Just send some digging equipment there to start digging the spaces needed and use the mass drivers we have on Hepahestus to send any needed resources up.

Or build a space elevator and construct a shipyard around it with a few automanipulator shields to protect it from space debris, whatever is best.

If that happens, we could just build the research facility on the opposite side of the moon or another asteroid. Not so sure about building it in orbit because of the destruction an explosion or accident could cause to any orbiting objects not protected by automanipulator shields.

@Sean Mirrsen I just wanted to point out that from a UWM saboteur's perspective, that installation of yours would be a priority target, given its explosiveness and importance (at least, at the current 'research and prepare' stage), so the extra bit of security might be vital.

...and so saw the rise the Order of Accountants of the ARM. Heroic individuals, every one of them, they all swore the solemn Oath of freeing General Miyamoto and his successors from the dread of bookkeeping. To this day, not a single Accountant has failed his General, though many have perished in their line of duty.

Kay then. Small question though, does this 'do not post in ship thread' also include RP posts without an action, or not?

I would consider building the lab on another planet, however as Nik correctly points out, security is also an issue. If we build this thing on another celestial body, we'll have twice the number of celestial bodies to defend. The amp facility is going to be a problem as it is.

You can still do things that don't require my posts, thats fine. Talk amongst yourselves all you want.

It will, we're just gonna handle that afterwards and act like it happened at the same time.

Really I'm just trying to get people off the ship and back on mission because when EVERYONE is on the ship it becomes a clusterfuck. So I'm trying to minimize that.
