I saw some people wondering why there is no perv mode Renen...

[will:6]
You successfully restrain yourself. In fact you restrain yourself so successfully that you think you may have just inadvertently made yourself asexual. Oh well, you have a silver uniform at the very least. No really private places though. You could hide in a corner and be out of sight, but thats not really private.

This is why Renen is asexual now. Plus he doesn't have any testosterone production right now.

((Assuming up on the map is north as per default mappy stuff))

So uh. Sounds like we should head up the bend if that's where she's going.
Unfortunately for you, you're in the basement, so you didn't hear that. You either hope someone (doesn't) inform you about what's happening or (don't) continue with your exploration. I support the sentence with the parentheses, but you might prefer the one without them.

Whoopsies. Forgot I don't hear the stuff down there.

Also:
Also, if the next mission starts in a real life month, and designing the upgraded sods takes a month and a half... Yeah, then we won't be able to use them. And I think I recall pw saying that we could get a 'supply ship' from Hep at the end of each batch of missions. Which is why I'm asking to send them our way now before missions end.

You can just give them standard equipment for now, or maybe even ask Steve to outfit them with stock from the Sword.
Well, we'll be able to send sods almost whenever. I think our only available, undamaged, spaceworthy, FTL-capable ship right now is The Merchant, but it should suffice for a supply run. Plus it's already meant to carry lots of cargo, so no special fiddling necessary.

Sods we'll likely have in sufficient quantity by then. Stasis chambers to keep them alive during FTL... probably. But we'll have a whole lot of time till we need to send off the supply run as well, so I think we'll be able to get at least a few new toys shipped along. Saint's PSAR, improved versions of Anton's Gungnir and Red Hand, maybe even first versions of Mk4/MACS/whichever suit upgrade ends up being most worthwhile. With some luck, maybe even first FEL rifles. Honestly, we have a whole lot of fairly reasonable projects right now. PW's just trying to keep us occupied so we don't overload him with all the testing. :P

I should totally send sean my gauss piledriver designs along with a request for robosods with electric rollerblades or jump rockets.

Because nothing says fuck you like a bunch of high speed cyborgs falcon punching everything in the face.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Perhaps, but I think pw said the Sword will only get the supplies and such sent from Hep at the end of each mission. So maybe it doesn't matter when you send them in the future, but I'm asking you guys to ensure I'll have sods to work with by next batch of missions.

And if you need more, start building I'd say. You don't have to design all that yourself even, just ask ARESTEVE to design and begin building a few ships for resupply runs.

No offense, but you guys don't have a whole lot of concrete stuff to show already. Hell, if Syv hadn't ordered a few build, you wouldn't even have those. Also, 'by then'? You mean by end of these missions? Cause I have no idea right now how long they'll take, but I suspect it won't take as much time as is needed for you guys to get the upgraded robosods all worked out, production facilities set up, and build them all.

You guys sure have a lot of pet projects running, but I kinda think you aren't being coherent and focused enough. Not saying those projects aren't viable, but you should also really get moving on other things that aren't as 'glamorous', but also important. Like expanding to other planets/moons, building defenses on Hep, getting a navy going.

Conciseness up the everything, RC.

Also, wasn't there a minimum post length limit?

edit: too late, I already captured the original post in all its glory. :P

Okay yeah, we'll start doing things soon. Really, the whole fleshhorror situation should have meant that we barely have even 50 of those sods by now, because the process is still supposed to take ingame days or weeks, even for brains.

Computer and net shenanigans, don't mention it. If this happens, just wait for me to edit in the actual post.

Yes, there is, it's a single character.

I don't have a whole lot of time right now to write up a full post, but I'd like to point out that I very much agree with Radio.  At the rate stuff on Hephaestus is going, we won't really have much of anything to show within the next month.  I mean, we haven't even decided on what stuff we're gonna be building, let alone actually design it or start producing it.  This is in large part why I was rushing design of the Testament. Not the PSAR.  Trust me, I spent like two hours trying to come up with a decent acronym, and couldn't find anything I liked.  Which does not include something that sounds like 'pisser'

I mean, seriously, every tinkerer on Heph has a different idea for the new line of suits, and I don't think any of us really understand the other's ideas much at all.  I think Sean wants a multi-purpose, multi role adjustable suit thing, and Pyro wants... MKII vacuum resistance in MKIs?  We certainly haven't discussed our ideas with each other much. >.>

Actually, 'the pisser' is probably one of the most inspiring names for a rifle I've heard yet. Beats shitty mythological theme naming any day of the week!

Names don't matter that much considering that we're called 'ARM' and our veterans are known as 'Bastards'. Plus 'pisser' is much easier to remember and than most mythological beings. Especially when you consider that chances are, most people wouldn't have an idea what they are considering that such things are beyond ancient.

The PSAR is like an assault rifle version of the Testament, right? Not sure if it was something else since I don't read Tinker too often, but you could call it the TSAR- Testament Style Assault Rifle.

As soon as my new computer is set up and ready to go (so that I can actually do a proper wall-of-text post), I'm going to start administrating more, for sure. Been planning on doing so for a little while now, actually. Hopefully, there will be focus, and a lot of it. I'm kinda regretting not taking a stronger hand first, but it is in-character not to have - Simus has only ever headed small teams that had their goals laid out for them, but less so methodology.
