Just noticed I haven't bolded my interest in assisting in the rescue operation, so I will do so now.
As much as I fear going down to this unassuming death-trap of a planet, I've got to be there to provide a shiny metal ass for people to hide behind. Unless Miyamoto/RC thinks a Battlesuit with an Swiss Army Energy Cannon would be too high profile.

None. I have the tokens needed, I'm pretty sure. I just suspect I wouldn't have the time to get it. Also, I'd like to do some experiments with that stasis suit I got, and I'll certainly not get time for that.

Anyone who got to 10 missions before the rebellion became part of Steve's wetware. No one ever reached 10 missions, but Steve told us after the fact.
There's no mission number goal nowadays. Anyone who didn't want to stay could have gotten off at Hephaestus.

Actually, retirement after 10 missions used to be sort of a lie-to-children. Whoever made it that far would simply be repurposed as more brain matter for Steve, since survival like that speaks of at least some valuable cranial capability. That is, unless Steve really liked the convict in question, in which case they'd be made part of the crew.

Now, though, since we're not really convicts anymore (rather, we're revolutionaries without a real cause aside from "down with the Uwum!"), "10 missions and you're out" no longer has any applicable meaning, since now we're subversive agents in for life or death no matter what we do.

What? No, but we've kind of been forced into open rebellion against the UWM now, so until we either win this crazy war, somehow manage to defect/escape without getting our brains fried by Steve, or die there's not going to be any nice relaxing retirement. :<

I didn't question it openly, but I did question it. Before I joined, I was certain that Steve was a rogue AI working against the UWM that used the brains of those that survive ten "missions" to keep itself alive (because, really, using the brains of the losers?). I considered having my character try to talk to Steve about that. Then the missions in favor of and with the participation of the UWM started...
