You're kinda forgetting an important detail. Faith isn't the problem.
If a ghost or a demon is possessing someone, killing that someone won't fix the problem. It's a temporary solution at best.
You need the space magic equivalent of an exorcist to permanently solve the problem.

When she began possessing Corsair's character she went through his shield and then "wore" his arm like a glove. She used it to hit him in the leg before "wearing" the rest of his body. And Corsair's character could talk while possessed and so did Faith and Faith is currently unconscious. So definitely some kind of body controller and not a mind controller. I'd recommend Steve remotely enabling her berserk mode, just to see what happens.

To be honest, anyone using Chlorine Trifluoride in anything should need handiwork rolls to hand-load them.  And the pentafluroride is rougher to make and handle, as well as being slightly unsuitable for storage, due to it disassociating exothermically without external assistance.

Well, hey, intelligence is basically a useless skill unless you're using manips (or are stupid in reality, I suppose).  And manips are almost entirely inferior to amps.

I tend to think of intelligence as more of a 'formal education' stat.  Someone can be really book dumb, and still be a veritable genius as far as mental thinking ability goes.

And handiwork is less 'knowledge of how things function' and more 'how to make things function differently using your hands'.  I mean, Lerman's way better at handi than Saint, and he gave himself boob legs.  AUX is really more about how things function.

The wiki says it's untested but likely to be effective:

Well, when it first popped up, Pyro had to make rolls to mess with it.  I'm not sure if Charles' did for the pawn, but aside from that, I can't think of any time when people were handloading ClF₃.

Anyways, even if Saint needs to make a roll, well, being dropped into a vat of the stuff would only be an annoyance to him.  Spilling some on his hand isn't an issue.

Carbon-iodine trifluoride?  I've never heard of that, and wikipedia has no article on it.  Then again, my chemistry knowledge is practically nonexistant, so maybe that compund does exist.

If the chemical doesn't damage the brooms, then how much damage would the facility itself suffer?  The worst that would happen is wasting a bunch of a chemical that sounds extremely difficult to synthesize.

...Why would we be loading it into shells?  I doubt it's more effective as an incendiary than ClF₃, it certainly doesn't sound dense, and it's probably not even explosive.
