The most obvious difference is that these people seem to use a slightly modified form of English which almost sounds broken to you. They tend not to use adjectives and leave out many connecting words if it could be understood without. They often seem to leave out large sections that are understood. For instance, in the weather report they say:

"Large Storm system coming from East. Rain tomorrow, weekend."

It seems to be a very clipped way of speaking.
