He was created by a scientist as the first sucesfull Gorrilla-Human hybrid. The scientist was later executed for crimes in creating genetic abominations and Maggilla was assigned to HMRC since he could prove useful.
This comes to mind.
Also, ask the doctor to make him larger and then abduct a female.

I think if you're going to try and re-enact a certain film... you might be introuble given most of the ladies on board the sword... May might enjoy it, though I'm not too sure about the gorilla in that circumstance :D

Also still trying to decide whether to volunteer to go on the boarding op... still only got a MK I suit so logic says no since I really don't want to lose Angel without having at least a little time to develop him... on the other hand it's out of character for him not to go if ordered and not to volunteer if the offer is there so... I dunno... I might bump it up the chain of command I guess :D

What really came to mind to me while I was creating him was the Incredible Hulk, actually. You'll see what I mean.
I wouldn't really dare abducting anyone on board, at least not yet.

Take Flint's example. Join the fun. Throw caution to the wind and jump into the heart of battle. You know you want to. I mean, come on marine, do you want to live forever?

Disclaimer: Fun may include being vaporized before reaching your destination or missing your target and getting lost in space, with only the choice of wether or not you should just kill yourself or your comrades remaining for you to make.

((So, I was using the search function to make sure nobody had tried to talk to me, when I realized that I had only been searching for Lyra and Lenglon, not cat. So I ran that one and found this:))
Saint then turns to Lyra, and a scowl flashes across his face momentarily before being replaced by a friendly smile. "Sadly it won't work for you, because you don't have any mechanical optics.  Ahh, if you don't mind my asking, what's your name?  The personnel files I read never mentioned any... cat.. people?
((sorry about missing this. I'm up for retconning the conversation into happening if you want.))

It is encrusted with sharkmist and HMRC. On the item is an image of HMRC and Pancaek. Pancaek is laughing. The HMRC is melting. The artwork relates to the encasing of the HMRC in metal by Pancaek during the Mission of Many People.))

Speaking of, we're going to sit in a giant fuckoff gauss cannon. WE ARE THE ARTILLERY.

Clearly this cannot go poorly.

I wonder if it will kill me this time, third times the charm right?

Also, does firing something out of a tube using a vector manipulator induce recoil? Just curious.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

I'm less worried about recoil and more about G forces involved.

Does hitting something with a kinetic amp induce recoil? Or a mass manipulation amp (which is a combination of gravity and vector amps)?

EDIT: And I don't think G forces are a problem since if it uses space magic, your entire body will be accelerated at the same time. Deceleration when it reaches its target on the other hand... that might be a problem.

I would think that deceleration is no problem, considering the drop pods have gravity cradles (Or whatever they're called) that can deal with being hotdropped from orbit.

Wonder how we'll get through the armor.  Breaching lasers, like what was used to get to the flesh horror cave?

Kinetic force. We are going to be rammed into a bullet, which will be fired at incredible speed to the ships, which we will breach by knocking, really, REALLY hard. The dampener systems are there to make sure we survive breaching the armor.

By the way that question had nothing to do with our boarding cannon.

Im just wondering if vectir manipulators would let uss surpass the firepower limit of man portable weapons.

I would assume you can eliminate recoil using manipulators, but I think it would have to be a combination of a few kinds.

You know what? I've not seen any actual action in a long time (I think the last time I even fired a non-virtual weapon was back in mission 8, or whatever the sharkmist colony mission was). I'm going on the boarding mission. Justified in leaving my post in that Miyamoto can't go and Simus is confident he can keep the planet intact for a few hours, if it even takes as long.

Edit:
Thomas loots CON weapons from the piles. He takes a gauss rifle, and if he finds anything else of interest, anti-armor weapons, such as rocket launchers, he takes them onto the sword to stow in a locker, alongside the gauss rifle.

What exactly are you looting from? I don't think I saw anything about piles, particularly of functioning weapons, did I miss something?
