Your best bet would be getting unburied while you're alive, so you can be found. If you're wearing an undamaged Mk-series suit, then you're fairly well insulated from cold and don't have to worry about suffocation if you have your helmet on - and even if you don't you should still have the oxygen supply, so being buried in snow is less of a problem than staying buried in snow while your suit's supplies run out.

If you have a laser rifle, setting it to "heat shotgun" mode and firing quick pulses so you don't fry someone by accident is probably a good way to unbury yourself.

Yeah, Maybe I'll see if my heat ray is unbroken, and keep the snow away from the apc, that way me and Micheal will have a psuedo-shelter while we wait out the storm.

Edit: I just saw Sean's edit, I have a laser and that sounds a lot safer than using the heat ray xD so I'll go with that idea

People buried in the snow, I suggest you not try to find the APC.  You're currently in the middle of a raging snowstorm and can't see twenty feet in front of you.  You've probably completely lost any sense of direction, and worse, your only landmark just got destroyed.  Running off blindly into the snow is only likely to make you more lost and separated.

I'm not sure if you can (usually we use the shock implants for tracking anyways), but people should check that fact before trudging off blindly into the snow.  It blocked Steve's signal, which is far more powerful, so I wouldn't be surprised if it blocks implants/wristpads.  Anyways, it still won't help you find the APC.
