Well, I was gonna buy one, but Xan's a giant cheapskate and wants to save up for the perfect one.

Well, that is the efficient way to do it.

I mean, technically the efficient way to do it is to buy a cheap one and then use it until someone else wants a cheap one, at which point they pay you for it and you get an upgraded version, repeating until you're at the perfect one. But I doubt there's enough demand to make that flow smoothly, so you're probably better off just saving for the perfect one.
