Skills
You get 8 points to assign in the beginning and 5 with every successful mission. Every 5 points in any skill gets you a 1/3 chance of +1 to rolls, so 15 points in any skill means a +1 to all related rolls. Having less than 3 in a skill causes an automatic -1.

So you'll actually probably die to a 0.

I'm actually wondering if I should implement the mechanism pw uses in 888th Brigade, that is skill levels don't work as straight +x to the rolls but expands 5s. Mainly because I have used the similar system before and it still means people can roll 1 and 6 no matter how good they are. That would increase the value of Neurophotonic Spinal Column and reduce the worth of Decompensators. More chaos.
