Huh, I thought I PMed PW an epilogue action. Oh well, no biggie.
Jobasio's story probably wouldn't be that interesting.

Sy got the thing back to me with a very long list of things to fix.

It will be done tomorrow, hell or high water.

You know, this seriously made me consider the possibility of Apocalypse happening tomorrow. Not because of a theoretical overbeing's plan to mess with PW's promise, but because said overbeing might have been postponing said global event (which has been prophesied for several times in the last few years alone - remember the ones PW mocked, right?) because of being too interested in reading ER.
Alternatively, because people all over the Earth start going mad and hyper-aggressive from their favourite read ending, and their lives suddenly losing any coherent existential reason.

ER has millions of secret readers noone knows about?
Perhaps government agents are being dispatched to our houses as we speak, in a last ditch effort to save the world by producing more ER.

I'll try and bleed a bit on my handcuffs so you guys can tell which one I am.

-cough cough-

Omega Legion is a reasonably decent cheap alternative, for your casual viewing pleasure.

it's Gm is a bit of a softy and tends to be less hard core than the Evil Overlord of ER, but he tries.

One might say ...

He is trying.

Very trying.

Well, which is it? Tomorrow, Hell, or high water?

Actually, due to his omission of a comma preceding "or", it is implied that "tomorrow", "hell", and "high water" are not part of a list; "hell or high water" is set off as a separate item from "tomorrow".  Of course, his sentence is still incorrect, as the subject "hell or high water" is just glued to the end without any words to define how it is relevant.  One can assume that he meant "come hell or high water", a common idiom, or perhaps that he is referring to us by the strange appellation "Hell Or High Water", and simply forgot to capitalize the name.  Personally, I believe the former scenario is more likely, but I'll admit that when taken extremely literally, it is difficult to be completely certain of the intended meaning.

...My apologies, it's hard to turn the pedant off after I let it out of its cage.  I'll just be going...

I must disagree, though. That omission of comma might as well be the conscious rejection of Oxford Comma, which would mean that they are still part of a list. Furthermore, I believe, that "come" you mentioned might also be strongly implied, but, again, consciously omitted - to the best of my knowledge, it might not be part of 'regular' ('regulated', more like) and ages-old set-in-stone English, but it is certainly a slowly but surely gaining the beachhead part of contemporary, ever-evolving modern English (e.g., as demonstrated by the terse, laconic style of speech employed by the Doctor); thus, it might have been an authorial stylistic choice, or perhaps an imitation of colloquial English. Either way, I don't see any problems with the quoted part.

Pedant cagefight? Pedant cagefight! Yeah, I can see now why syv's lone assistance was preferred over, say, also including mine (or anyone else's), what with the difference between "no, Grandfather Grammar forbid that!" and "yeah, well, I can give at least three explanations to why you said it that way, and why that is grammatically acceptable". Whatever.
