I was on my phone, yes.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Same thing happened to me.  Doesn't work on mobile devices.  I was able to get a vote in by requesting the desktop version, though.

I don't know. I still feel like a fresh universe with fresh lore would be more interesting and user friendly. I feel like the ER multiverse would carry a lot of baggage with it.

So, pw, I think the message to take away from the poll is that the community seems just about divided in the middle.
Maybe not "divided down the middle" so much as "like both options in roughly equal amounts." Of course some players prefer one and don't like the other, but I think a lot of us like both, but can only have one.

Note this though - both options are for something "different" from ER. People apparently don't want a straight up sequel. At least, not right now.

And if they do want a straight sequel, that's what I'm working on right now.

In my case, I may have voted for a sequel, but by the time I voted there was such a rift that I decided to vote for my second choice, which was something different, but related to ER. But, I also fit into your category of Im fine either way.

I wonder if I should start throwing out the other alternative games like WIZARDS!!! or That monster hunter style game on the same dead god world as Homunculus.

You could do that, but that would make the entire process even harder.

Also, poll results are in!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It seems "Some sort of follow up to ER which differs wildly from the old one, but still has some connection lore-wise to old ER." wins by a very narrow margin. But the race has been neck and neck the whole time, and I'm sure that if I leave the poll open for some time longer that it could easily rebalance or swing back the other way by a vote or two. So, pw, I think the message to take away from the poll is that the community seems just about divided in the middle. I suggest now might be the time to consolidate the options and have a final vote to decide? Or you could just look at what seems to be popular here in the thread, and then just decide what you are most interested in running.
Yeah...Lets start a new poll.

Put in all three of the options I listed, Plus "ER-beyOpolis" and "ER Beyond"

Wait, would the sequel be set in the current galaxy? The one we are attempting to abandon? I mean, if humans abandon ship because of the lurker, why would the other species and races in this current universe be viable options? If it isn't in this galaxy though, I could understand. I mean, we have encountered other, powerful aliens, and intelligent spiders, at any rate, so there's that.

If Xan destroys the EUE, we at least have one colony out there, so humanity could potentially survive. Shoot. we should dump some people into some of our other, less ideal universes now, before ... does Xan specifically have it out for humans? I mean, if he is after all life, I wouldn't imagine he would want ot destroy the EUE, because that would limit his ability to destroy new worlds. Bah.

I doubt Dester will be remembered by humanity or whatever comes after. but if ER beyond occurs in one of hte new universe we have discovered and hopefully populated, well, at least he will have contributed. I guess.

It would be set somewhere else. Depending on which version ERORO or ER Beyond, it would be in another universe or in several other universes.

Welp, that's it, then.  A universe based on ER is a universe with no place for me.

So, would this be good? Wanna be sure it's good so we don't have to redo the poll.

Whats wrong with it now, Dev? Why do you hate the idea of another universe? Are you a univeracist?
