Though sods are asexual in the first place, aren't they? If it's a sexual attraction thing, they shouldn't be seeing beautiful human females, I wouldn't think. Maybe some DNA got on the probes and it reacted to that?

The crowbar is pretty iconic of the character though, and is just about the mst usefl against head crabs and those flying buzz saws, plus it needs no ammo, so it was a pretty useful one. Grav gun is, of course, the shit, though.

I believe you are mistaken, but not terribly so. historically, disease and poor hygiene were the major causes of death in war. Accidents do still to this day claim people in war pretty regularly though. as for friendly fire, I haven't looked it up, but I kind of doubt it is as big a contributor.

IC, it could be due to the insane tolerances and some weird minute differences in position of the machine's parts -a matter of refinement of the prototype for future versions or whatnot.

I check the wiki page before every test, using ctrl-f. Maybe I put a space between the -7's when I searched? That's my best guess.
