I don't understand how you can offer robotic modifications as well since your handiwork is terrible and aux only slightly above average. Should be limited to organic modifications.
Piecewise said those'd be Med. Who am I to challenge the glorious Piecewise?..
It could screw the buyer yes, but it's still a massive step up from the status quo, wherein you'd have to kill Renen to be considered.
Eh, I'm mostly against it because it's really expensive for odds that are unknown. If it was custom priced then that would make it just right to me.
You know, I might just follow your advice, I guess. It would still be randomised, of course (and possibly slightly more difficult on Piecewise since there won't be two discrete options anymore, but a sliding scale), but perhaps price could be tailored to each case.
Edit: After answering the question below, yes, I think a tailored price would be best.
could you compare the current / past heavy genemodded pplz to you system and estimate what prices / differences you would do?
Sure.
Faith the Living Medic Box: roughly equivalent to a resupplying Advanced Kit + Empathic Gland. ~9-10 token equivalent?=5 tokens
(By the two-option system, I'd either drop a little features, or added some more. Such as, heh, fleshknitter-producing sack.)
Cog the Living Spaceship: equivalent to Mk III, give or take. ~10 t.e.?=5 tokens
(By the two-option system, I'd try to emphasize the tough skin that is already space-resistant; maybe lace with sharkmist for equivalent of in-built Sharksuit armor (possibly thicker).)
Nekarios the Spider-Ock: well, there is little to compare to, but I think it's somewhere around 1-2 t.e.?=1 token.
Personally, I'd buff the strength as well, to at least robobody levels (note that Nick was still in a semi-human body).

... Ooops, the trial has ended. It means that the real coolness begins. Sorry, gotta go reply there! Stay tuned for the Fun!..
