Note that you can get a full refund for all origin-tech items.  Pancaek had a whole bunch of stuff, so he got fifty tokens and used it to buy a mythril covered white mask, making him nearly invulnerable.  You could refund your synthflesh body and use it to get a Heavy Robotic Body (which is arguably superior to your old body), and have five tokens left over.  I'm not suggesting this just because it will get me paid four tokens, but admittedly that is a motivation.

just out of curiosity... how does pancaeks manifestation work?

i mean the impants in his brain... does that mean if he switches bodies his manifestation will remain anchored to his original body?
and if his brain dies, permanent or otherwise, would that shut it down despite the fact his mind is still intact within the mask?

He bought it on IRC. He got the mask and Id together, with a one(?) token cost to have them integrated together. Somehow.

I stasis'd him so he could get robutted aboard the Sword. Xan saves parts this way because he's a cheapskate of the highest order, a trait which has literally gotten him killed.

My character ("4"/"Pneuma") meets the aux requirements, she's on newb team 2.  I'm not sure that they wouldn't be in better hands on a vet team, though.

Also, not sure how to ask Miya for things since my character's never met him?  Or knows who he is right now?

1 gunnerbot for 4 it is. Don't forget to use it! Still 1 left for another team. If other people ask for it and could use it better we can still change it if necessary.

I think ARM's general structure would be explained to people dropping from stasis. Not sure though, up to you how you wanna spin it.

@RC: We could stick all three giant robots outside. Makes sense, since I'm made for mobility and versatility and Lars is made for long range firepower. But sure, I  can try helping from the inside, if you think that's better. Edit: I could even try using my charisma to gain something useful.

Unless by "support the inside team" you mean "fly/hover outside the building, creating giant molten holes in whatever part of the building the team inside calls out".

I meant that Miya might be able to quickly relocate to help out the team on the inside.

Anyways, now that Faith has joined (I think?), we can stick her on the inside team and put Lars outside. Even numbers, but that does put inside team with only 1 armored robutt for protection though. But still, I think that should work out.

@RC Could I request the two cans of medifoam for Team 1?

At the moment at least, those are in the 'medical fund', so you'd have to ask Nik (for now still at least). If that doesn't get you what you need though, ask again and you'll get them

Actually, what's with people and the fear of kin-amps these days? I mean, sure, it's Origin tech, and unstable one, but it doesn't seem to be able of summoning Lurker or something. All its corruption does is randomise it's power exponentiation level. (And then, I believe that it was once tested that kin-amps cannot actually decrease the force output, only increase, so there isn't even danger of it nerfing your weapon to nothingness - but there is still chance that it might go beyond mere squaring.)

In short, I think as long as you know the risks, and Steve trusts you, you can easily keep the kinamp-related equipment (and, if you are lucky with dice, might even find it a better offer than before). Am I missing something?..

Yeah, and I even directly asked him not to rush things! Well, pity. Still, I think he intends to get everyone podded by Friday or Sunday, so there is still time. Assuming the trial ends today.

Well, you do only get as much uses as your uncon/exo score indicates, and a kinamp is still a manipulator, so it counts towards that limit afaik. And that club has multiple of them, so 1 strike might put you over the limit already.
