Obviously, it must have some sort of intelligence. Had you been removed by a UFO and taken to another universe, would you rather escape the dish at a stop in the middle of nowhere in the kingdom of neverforever, or rather somewhere else?

Now we only need to get in contact with that intelligence, and maybe not exterminate the xenos for the first time in the history of humanity! Ah, who am I kidding...

Hmmm. How about we send it into the Lurker-controlled territory (possibly with the "anchor" detached, in case it could get corrupted too)? INJECT IT INTO OURSELVES in action, except with enemies instead. If it makes them stronger... well, we're already fleeing this place. If it makes the Lurker go visit the barnacle's home dimension - too bad, but better them than us (and woo, no more Lurker in our universe!). If it slows it down/stops/destroys/infects the Lurker with the Barnacle God - all the better!

I'm holding off on posting here till I'm done with the Infirmary dungeon generation.

Just to let you guys know, it will be possible to get money, loot and even stat points in there, though it is also possible to die horribly so balance your greed with your desire to have your blood remain in your body.

Only those who have gone on LESS THAN 2 missions will be allowed in. It's a way to kick start your character before going out, not a loot grinder for you vets.

I suppose Vanessa doesn't count? "She" has only been on one mission thus far, but Xan's been on three or four including 24.

Cthunkan doesn't count, probably - Cthunkan will have 1 mission, Chief had 1, Thaddeus had 4, Zayne had 1, so that's a total of... 7? But only in stats, not skills, though I guess it's made up for by taking all of the initial stat bonuses and none of the maluses.

Bet it'll make for good television, though! Are there cameras in the back of the infirmary?
