I can't say for our world, but ER seems to have just given us the answer: "Person" is stats, "personality" is skills.

The way I see it, the key experiment could be wiping a human mind clean of all memories and concepts, and starting anew; whatever remains is the inevitable person; everything else is just personality.
Here, we had several people lose their bodies and convalesce into a single thing, for the lack of a better term. Regardless of how it was created (somehow picking the best stats of all the six), the stats appear completely independent of the skills. A whole someone (for the lack of a better term) could be wiped from the being's mind, and it would only bring the silence where a particular voice in the head once was; the skills of that someone disappear, the unified stats remain. Logically, it appears, were all four remaining someones disappear from the being's head, it would still retain all the stats while being dumb as... as...

...as regenerated Mesk. We now totally have backing for reviving him - if without any skills, then still with all the stats, because the bug that was salvaged 'remembers' his last 'update' of the body - i.e., of his stats. This could be interesting, if only Piecewise would agree to accept our conclusions here.

So, returning to person vs. personality: the person being would remain behind, while all the personalities someones would be silenced forever. We've completed our thought experiment, and reached the answer.

It should work on them, the only problem is that they both know quite a bit more than any of the players do, and if a player tried to take a Friable Wish pill near them the AM/DR would incapacitate/kill them before they could swallow it.

Dester has been ready for about a week and a half now.

Why we're going on a mission allegedly to harvest organs is beyond me. Don't we have essentially unlimited organs / new bodies, etc as is? And with the sharkmist vat an easy possibility, organ farmin would be easier than ever.

...

There is one organ I can think of which we don't necessarily have in large, renewable quantities, and make apparently fairly frequent use of. (<- a gift for my grammarian friends.)
