Hmmmm, I want to keep lucricia from using explosives much even with uncon, as I mostly justified uncon with 'She's a black belt or some shit in something I dunno' buuuuut...
Screw it, explosions.

Is the new map of the 'Sword posted anywhere on the Wiki?
Mostly I just want to know if a trip to the armoury would take me past the Rec room.

I don't think it should go in the ship thread, so for anyone not reading Heph OOC, general announcement:

The (by design) highly niche apparatus called the MCP-Aero suit, or the "Fat Sparrow" if you like, is now available for purchase.

I ask this question on behalf of everyone who doesn't pay attention to Heph, ie most people: the fuck is hex sand?
Also is that thing bulletproof?

I want one. Sadly I only have 6 tokens, and I'm probably going to spend some of those before the mission starts.

Define "bullet". :P

Hexsand is a black, glassy substance that absorbs lasers like nobody's business. It will also protect against kinetic impacts, but easily shatters. In this case, the chest/helmet/fan armor is enough to stop laser rifle beams, and will likely stand up to civilian gauss rifles for hit or two. A direct hit from a regular gauss rifle will only be somewhat mitigated. The rest of the suit only has the minimal protection offered by the MCP-II and the lightweight exoskeleton.

Ah, okay.
It's worth noting that Hexsand is pretty much invulnerable to any kind of energy weapons above (found out during a session I believe involved pliers at some point in the process) about 1/2 of an inch thick, plasma cannon shots just dissipate off it.
There's also another type of new armour that is near invulnerable to physical force, and another that is in between, but can heal.

Hexbug and Sharkmist respectively, if memory serves.

I thighs your writeup of the suit excluded fan armour, as the fans have to spin extemely fast and fold down to a ridiculously small package.

Not the fans themselves of course, just the airflow ducts around them and the gimbal arms. I did half-jokingly propose the fans to be made out of some variant of sharkplate, so they could be easily repaired if damaged, but I think that would have pushed the design even further from realism depending on the exact properties of sharkplate.

Eh, I probably won't buy any of it since I've entirely stopped planning for the future. Anytime you do that in this game you just get maimed and disappointed.

Still, seems interesting for someone who'd wanna rent it on a Joker mission.

so err, whats going on with our newest Eldritch McNugget?

we killing it? dragging it to the infirmary? ignoring it in the hopes it will go away?

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

The last, apparently. It's turned into basically a stat and wealth boost for the last personality standing, and a tragic misfortune for the others.

Due to all the excitement and !!FUN!! on the On Ship thread, I almost forgot to get myself some new equipment. I'd better go and do that before I forget again.
