Welp, I figured out Goldsmith's law. It was surprisingly annoying to find, since googling those terms got me an assload of lawyers. Just ... just a crap ton of them. Like all of them. All the lawyers. All crap ton of them.

the trick for me was to google "goldsmith's law" just like that. Still got lawyers, but second hit was some guy's book full of these kind of sayings.

Funnily enough, Milno once said something along those lines before. A similar phrase was tossed around a lot in my house afters lines of questioning like "Who ate the last cookie?" were met with "I asked if you were going to eat it while you were watching TV and you didn't answer. He who keeps silent consents."

Can't watch the video because my nets are shit. But, that was at least the very beginning of the book... sorta. They also knew that was going to happen when they signed up for it. The book was alright. Didn't read any of the sequels. Anyone know if they are any good, or if they are even related to the first, in the sense of them fighting?

With the effect, I guess, ranging from a nice demonstration a-la Star-Eater painting to spontaneously going all Xan-monster and sprouting flesh-growths outwards to grab and consume and do space magic and, ultimately, Grow Bigger.
