If Lyra has arms/hands functional enough to use delicate medical equipment, I think grabbing a dude's arm and pulling shouldn't be too difficult. Not like there are so many people pulling she'd get in the way of other people. But true, such concerns of realism are often secondary when there's players to maim.

Well, the way I read the skill levels is:

0: you are pleasingly maimable.

-1: you're definitely asking for it.

-2: piecewise eagerly awaits the moment you try and use this skill.

Especially given that 0 means unskilled, essentially.

I agree, except 0 also means "might have potential"/"innocent of ineptness"/"neither good nor bad": you are also safely non-maimable (about the same base chance as maimable, I'd say; definetly more than with -1 or -2).

Anton deliberately avoids handling artifacts mostly for IC reasons, but at least partially so that he doesn't accidentally kill himself trying to work an alien hedge trimmer with his -2 Exo, just in case there are still some rolls for us Heph people.

I'd much rather you used your amp, instead, but I'm not asking that IC because Hasala has decided not to bother trying with Lyra or Flint. He's not really expecting you to help him get out from under the jeep, either, which is exactly what you're not doing. I'm not lifting the entire jeep like you suggested OOC because I've used my amps a few times already, and I have no desire to run out of mind points. Applying the force to lift it slightly should be easier than completely lifting the entire thing.

As for not taking the time to write up a text message, your latest body is mechanical, IIRC. Those have instant text messaging systems that don't require limbs at all.
