You know what? I've not seen any actual action in a long time (I think the last time I even fired a non-virtual weapon was back in mission 8, or whatever the sharkmist colony mission was). I'm going on the boarding mission. Justified in leaving my post in that Miyamoto can't go and Simus is confident he can keep the planet intact for a few hours, if it even takes as long.

Thomas loots CON weapons from the piles. He takes a gauss rifle, and if he finds anything else of interest, anti-armor weapons, such as rocket launchers, he takes them onto the sword to stow in a locker, alongside the gauss rifle.

Conventional Specialist. If one of your groups wants another gun, I am available.

What exactly are you looting from? I don't think I saw anything about piles, particularly of functioning weapons, did I miss something?

Miyamoto was going to loot where the drone pods fell, but there weren't any weapons sized for him.

Go to the crash sites of the drone-filled pods, see if there's anything to be salvaged. If not, check if the various dead sods and battlesuits have anything on them worth holding on to. If also not, be in limbo until the powers that be decide what to do. Grab a piece of debris to actually limbo.

Well theres various laser and gauss rifles and such, though nothing really fitting of your standing. Other people might need them, though. You're not gonna be able to go with the boarding parties, unfortunately. You're too big.

Right here. All Thomas has is a fancy rifle as of now, so it seemed like time to upgrade.

[W]e're gonna fire those pods up at the ships and pray that the systems in place to 1.stop the occupants from dying of massive g-forces 2.prevent them from being sliced apart by lasers and 3.prevent impact from just crushing the shell rather then letting it get into the ship, work.

Grate-splosion was fun.  Getting right back up after getting cut in half wasn't..

Isn't that better than not getting back up?

EDIT: And I don't think G forces are a problem since if it uses space magic, your entire body will be accelerated at the same time. Deceleration when it reaches its target on the other hand... that might be a problem.

The effects of g-forces upon acceleration largely depend on how the automanip is programmed, but the above seems likely.

You might be able to recover some rocket pods though.

I was under the impression that Thomas was part of that team. Did Phoenix join as well? Did I mix you up with another team, and I am not part of that one all together?

Yeah thomas joined before Auron confirmed he'd be the pilot.

I only remember phoenix asking anyone needed an extra gun, i didnt think wed actually recruited him yet.
