I know it's ungentlemanly to ask a lady, but...

@Lenglon: Quick question, after the cube, how much would you say Lyra weighs? I'm assuming that while the cube made you lightweight, it didn't make you so lightweight as to render your attacks (like punching) useless. Plus you are partly mechanical now. Because I want to know if I'm reacting to a surprising and surprisingly light impact or a surprising heavy impact. Jumping at someone that is not wearing armour from something as high as a battlesuit with only hard metal floor below them would not be very pleasant for them, assuming you're around 20kgs.

The Oppu-Kaiju effect rears it's head once more.

Japan physics which makes it possible for kaijuu to exist and the boobs of anime characters to be so unnaturally bouncy.

Ah, you mean:

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Still questionable.  Didn't his head explode?  So where's the brain coming from?  I mean, really, the only way you get dead ER characters is when there's no brain.  I can't remember anyone dying from anything else.
Not precisely. Destroy enough of a brain and they die. I have a feeling that whatever process is being used only requires some of their brain to go power an amp or something.

Though yeah, either way it's a bit odd what's happening.

Hey Nik (and Heph people in general), can I get a confirmation that the 'Fleshknitter' substance you guys packaged with that MCPII prototype is the substance Maurice developed during the timeskip, located in this post? I'd like to write up an entry on it for the wiki.

He was just kind of a dick to the protagonists, who then wrecked his house and accidentally killed his prize horse in revenge or something. It's been a while since I've seen it.

Yeah, it is. Also, unfortunately it is packaged in MCP-II only in the form of an optional upgrade (2 extra tokens; but present in the prototypes for testing purposes). At least now you could possibly have multiple of them installed (or some other upgrades, yet to be designed).

Hm... so it's not available on the general armory? (I think that's at your discretion, being the inventor, but PW already gave it an individual 'price per can', which we have listed on the armory, as Swordsmith pointed out to me)

Would anyone be interested in purchasing a discounted Microwave Amp? I would rather sell it to a fellow player than back to the armory. Only 2 tokens.

The offer is for a limited time only; if nobody bites, Irling will just sell it back.
