I joined and asked PW my respec questions.

Also asked him about the Man-Machine Interface implant; he says that it'll go through free prototyping like the MCP.I, and then will be a free item that people can voluntarily have implanted, but it takes up one 'implant' slot, meaning you can only have two psychokinetic amps if you have it.

So, it's getting prototyped.  People not in robobodies can use it, and it gives the same abilities as a robobody braincase; texting & computer work at the speed of thought, and using any equipment we decide requires an MMI.  Which now includes assaultsuits, the battlesuit replacement.  Any volunteers?

...I have a plan for this, though I'm banned from amps for the moment (I don't know that IC though). I can tell you part of it if you promise to keep it secret. You should be able to figure out why I'm doing some of the things I'm doing from there.

i think you got that ass backwards, the MMI is the hardware that allows people to control machines and stuff. we just arent allowed to use it to control on mission robobodies from the ship.

You are thinking of steves thingy which is a program that will run on said MMI.

U_P's right, partially.  MMI allows humans to use the possession software. 

Emp's also right, PW has banned the use of non Hephaestians using it, because it would just be abused.

And I think Steve's thing is different from the MMI.  The MMI doesn't allow possession of the person using it, unless PW decided that it should.
