In that case, go to the armoury and purchase a pack of smoke grenades (5 for one token, right?) Ask if paralysis gas works against haebi if only for a short time, if yes, buy a pack of those too (6 for one token too, I think.), then sell my (Unused, I believe.) laser rifle to buy a gauss rifle with an extra magazine of hollow-point rounds with it.

It was used. You lent it to me and I used it to cut off Kyle's head.
You could probably get the tokens from the Team Fund, instead. It's got enough tokens in it that it probably won't miss two or three, at this point, and it was originally the newbie fund, anyway.

Now I'm sad I don't know more Shackle combinations. It might have been useful against the Haebi since I could just use a different input whenever they adapt.

The process of awakening from stasis has always been a sickening experience for Xan - the sudden shift from utter stillness of mind to even the slow creep of feelings at the back of his mind is disorientating and gives him a headache. He reaches groggily for his head, cradling it in his hands against the pain-
And he freezes. He opens his eyes to see his hands.
His hands.
He went to sleep without limbs, he should not have woken up with hands.
He quickly concentrated. He willed his limbs to shift to something else. Something more ... serpentine. With scales. But there was no change forthcoming.
Xan frowned. He concentrated again on his limbs. Change. Change! CHANGE! But nothing was forthcoming but the strange phantom ache that results from concentrating too hard.
His hands are trembling, and his thin chest is heaving with panicked breaths.
I can't change. Why can't I change?!
He rolls off the table he woke up lying on and scrambles under it, frantically glancing around at the room he finds himself in. White walled. Sterile. Harsh lighting. Infirmary.
He stays under the table for quite some time, processing his existential crisis and shaking. Eventually he stops, and slowly crawls out from under the table, unfolding to his full height. His eyes are red-rimmed and his face is streaked with tears. He speaks with a shaky voice.
Steve. Steve, am I on the Sword? Why can't I change? What has happened? Why can I not change?

The equivalent, since he could've feasibly done so back when he had his powers.

I joined and asked PW my respec questions.

Also asked him about the Man-Machine Interface implant; he says that it'll go through free prototyping like the MCP.I, and then will be a free item that people can voluntarily have implanted, but it takes up one 'implant' slot, meaning you can only have two psychokinetic amps if you have it.

So, it's getting prototyped.  People not in robobodies can use it, and it gives the same abilities as a robobody braincase; texting & computer work at the speed of thought, and using any equipment we decide requires an MMI.  Which now includes assaultsuits, the battlesuit replacement.  Any volunteers?
