What I'm thinking is a night raid using existing pathways. Digging a tunnel didn't even occur to me. But the problems I see with that: Vaults have motion sensors. The moment we cut in they will activate. And there's problem of controlling effective distance of cutting lasers. Make one mistake and we ignite all money in the vault. Assuming they still use paper money. Remember we have to rob much more than just our target box so actual cash is also needed.

But I'm not leading this mission so it isn't really up to me decide. I'm just hoping our supposed leaders will get back into action.

Motion sensors wont help bank security if you weld the door shut or slice through the hydraulics.

Yeah, they can really only use things that bank robbers from that planet would have access to, or at least it'll have to look like that. Using a HEP to blast a hole might leave to many traces that'll tip them off (in the sense that they'll link it to Steve/ARM).

If the tunnel idea is too difficult, why not zipline onto the roof and cut through the ceiling?

Or utilizing the sewers/stormwater tunnels instead of the HEP tunnel.

I actually asked about the zipline to rooftop. Apparently the bank roof is very steep and almost impossible to stay on.

And sewers are too small, no luck there.
