Not really. Ivan's been gone from play since, like, forever. Might not actually be dead, strictly speaking, but he did turn into a distracted mutated horrorbeast that's currently confined to a glass tube and ready to be sprung on unwary travelers into the Doctor's domain.

Of the five Mission 1 people, Ivan was the first to "go", but Jim is the first to actually "die", insofar as brain activity is concerned. Ivan's brain never ceased functioning as such, as long as the Doktor keeps him alive in some state for experiments.
