I can always get on there again, I just left after a few hours because no one showed up.

Still, I'm surprised nobody volunteered.  I'd do so in a heartbeat.

Considering half the team is brain-dead and the other half has chosen to follow Miyamoto instead of me, I would be left to ordering myself around. And while the split personality thing might be fun for a while, it would probably get boring after a while.

More seriously, as is evident from the above, people almost always fail to notice/understand/follow orders or choose to ignore them so that they can do something more fun or piecewise mixes up where people were supposed to go, so there's not much reason to bother.

I don't want to keep shouting to people to do whatever I want. I'll tell them what I think is best and let them figure out what they want to do. All will work themselves out eventually. And if they don't, it's a game, nothing is really lost.

And it's not like I can make any decisions that matter anyway. I'd just be yelling orders at people and yelling at people for failing orders and taking notes, which is not as fun as it sounds. At least not for me.

See, I try to solve this by going for simple plans and only setting out broad lines so that people still have some wiggle room and can have fun in figuring out how to approach a problem, rather than microing everyone.

But then you see this. Two turns worth of time to prepare, a clear map, all info on the wiki, and yet out of 10 people only 5 make it to where they are supposed to be (more or less). The rtd format really sin't very suited for certain things (especially as the number of players goes up). Coordinated battle plans seems to be one of them.

Yell at your team to form up on you, take the lead, and it'll be all right. But yeah, you kinda need to be there, otherwise people can't post the ubiquitous "follow X" action.

So, do you guys have a combined plan you're working towards? Because if not, get one. Doing stuff on your own, following your own plan without explaining or telling anyone else about it isn't gonna get anything done.

Aww pw, I wanted to see how long it'd take them to figure this out themselves. And who would be the one to bring it up. Oh well.
