I think it uses AUX. It was used in the Abyss, I'll check if I have time.

It uses AUX when you're using it for AUX type stuff.  I don't see him having much use for a cutting torch in our own base though.  Even then, he has a +0 to AUX

I meant for use as a weapon, since that's what was being talked about.  I guess it might use DEX, and in that case he does have +1/3, but he's still not properly armed.


...It also uses MED sometimes.  I don't think anyone's tried to weaponize that in a productive way, though.

@Radio Controlled: I think you can still control the sods directly. Doing that would probably be more practical than relaying orders with Milno as a middleman.

Therefore, using the Cutting Torch always uses the AUX skill.

The difference in the movements used when aiming a laser at a rock and aiming a laser at a man aren't very great.

The difference between the movements used when welding, and when trying to hit someone with the welder, are very great.

Miya is in the middle of directing multiple teams and giving orders and such, while trying to survey his own area. So I think delegating the exact positioning of a sniper squad makes more sense in-game. And OOC it's a way to include other players in the tactical side of the battle.

Eh. One was to ensure pw saw the edits I made to the map for general convenience, the other to try and get a player to see my proposal of getting him into the game.
