((Irony, thrust can be created by running a large amount of electricity through an uninsulated wire suspended above something, like, say, tinfoil. The air around the wire is ionized, and the ionized air is attracted to the tinfoil, creating airflow, and thus, thrust. This square is being lifted by said ionic thrust.

Well, the phasing only lasts a moment or two (or, at least, while there is still danger) when automatic. I have some manual control, and I can move with it - I tried poking a finger through a wall (didn't work, it stopped halfway through) back when I first got it, so I was either able to move while phased or I was able to move a part of me that was phased.

Well, I asked cause I'm wondering what would happen if Simus was inside a building when it collapsed, and the phase suit activates while the rubble fills the space she used to be. Would she stay locked in phase mode? Phase out and explode due to matter being at her position already? No idea, but I'd advise you to, erm, try and avoid that from happening (not being buried in rubble is usually solid advise

What's the Red Hand?

I'm happy to see you're learning to search for yourself. Not being sarcastic or anything, and to prove it I'll give you a few tips to optimize your forum searching:
-when you search for something, searching the subforum itself will yield far less results than searching a specific thread.
-if you click the search button without filling in a search term, you get to a page from where you can use the advanced search (mind that from here, you will search the entire forum instead of the current thread/sub board
-use "" if you want to search for something specific. For example, using (Red hand) as searchwords will give you every post that mentions both 'red' and 'hand', but searching for ("red hand") will only give osts where the exact phrase "red hand" is used
-add 'piecewise' to reduce the number of posts from players (only when searching for certain stuff)
-use 'ctrl+F' tp search the search result page. handy for when searching something pw said, because the result page will be huge (due to pw posts being huge)

Grate did his thing by eating a manipulator battery.  Judging from his result and that the batteries are interchangable, then one would assume that the SPACE CTHULHU that makes the space magic work is powered from them.  So what does the manipulator itself do?

My theory is that it is a conduit that interprets and manages the input from the battery.  The practical upshot of this is if one made a pill from the manipulator itself, one could tap into this at will.  With highly unpredictable results, I am sure, but it should give access to it at least.  It should also be focused into the realm of the manipulator used.

So who wants to try it out?
