Islam vs Christianity
Oh boy.

So which religion produces more violence, do you think?
Oh boy.
Yeah, sorry about that poor and lacking starting statement, I had just come off a argument with a friend and hadn't really proofread this enough, or put as much thought into as I should have. I hadn't meant for it to come off as... Confrontational... To Islam as it did, but at least I don't hear people baying for my blood or insulting me yet
On another note, Norse mythology does have violence as part of their "religion", but they don't take it as divine word to wage complete and total war upon any who don't believe. It's just... War. Fighting because that's how they reach Valhalla, whether it's believers or no believers. They don't wage war in the
name of religion. And as far as my understanding goes, Islam preaches or at least condones waging war on whoever doesn't believe in it, even going as far as to call out Christianity specifically.
Christianity, on a different perspective, preaches understanding* and friendship/love, but is often misconstrued for political reasons, or just human corruption. Not in the way it was taught originally.
*understanding insofar as not killing those who don't believe. Christianity, whether it seems horrible or not, is exclusive, at least for those who believe and repent, blah blah blah. I could seriously give a sermon right now on this
. But that
also depends on the sect. My current church is non-denominational.
