Another Let's Player I had bookmarked.

Elanarae: German Let's Player (I think). Has done series on King's Quest, Dungeon Master, Might and Magic, Warcraft 2, Alone in the Dark and various others. First series I watched was a playthrough of King's Bounty, the precursor game to Heroes of Might and Magic. Commentary is casual focus on gameplay.
Minimal Swearing (I think, can't really remember).

Ah, yes. I've watched a few of Gronkh's videos. Most of his Let's Plays are in German yes?

I'll just say, please feel free to add Let's Players who may only post videos in languages other than English. Personally, while I may not understand much of what's being said, it can still be entertaining. I know through my searching that it's really hard to find English Let's Plays of games like Sacred or Heroes of Might and Magic that are in English.

Some of the guys I watch have already been mentioned (Grimith, SKS, Jefmajor, Chip Cheezum/Ironicus,  etc.)

Pokecapn, Kung-Fu Jesus, Medibot, and MyNameIsKaz are also a pretty fun bunch to watch.

There was a group of British LPers that did a series of 'bargain bin games' which has pretty much been lost, though I'll try to find a link I've forgotten what their names are. They've since stopped playing but the stuff they did was quite amusing.

While this person doesn't do regular LP's, the (main) one he did do is well worth the watch: Jurassic Park: Trespasser by Research Indicates. It's sort of a look into a game that had so much promise and potential but fell flat on its face. It's humorous and informative.

Video Games AWESOME! is basically what Let's Playing would be if it had any kind of budget. They started out with pre-recorded shows but soon started live shows that integrate a live chat right into the show (that was later restricted to 'club members' only because of certain events). They will also occasionally have a 'show and trailer' where they talk about video game news over the past few months, plus they will go to shows like PAX and E3 and do their own coverage of things which is pretty cool. They are Canadian and there is lots of swearing and.... ummm.... descriptions of things (depending on what game they're playing). Oh yes, the host likes to add his own bits of (amazingly humorous) 'voice acting' to certain games that lack voices.

Game Grumps/Steam Train/Steam Rolled/whatever other shows they do:

Wide cast of hosts, with the "main" hosts being Arin Hansen (Egoraptor) and Danny Sexbang of Ninja Sex Party. Older episodes had JonTron instead of Dan, but he had to leave the show when he moved to NY.

A lot of the humor is very hit-and-miss, but they also tell stories or just talk fairly often too. Once in a while they'll even talk about the game.

They are notorious for leaving series hanging, and also being really, really terrible at videogames. Be warned, this is the antithesis of informative let's-players like slowbeef. Some of their series are pretty bad for various reasons (the Battletoads one-off, Naughty Bear, Hotline Miami), but a lot of them are also really good (the Mary-Kate and Ashley one-offs, Nintendo Land, Sonic 06, the current Ride to Hell series).

Pretty frequent swearing, although it varies from episode to episode.

LPers that I find enjoyable (and who have not yet been mentioned) to watch are:

Revocane - Pretty sure he used to post around here ages back. Might be mis-remembering on that front, though. Very foul-mouthed, but funny. Has a love of zombie games.

mynameisnotlilly - A criminally under-appreciated LPer, I think. He's done what I consider to be the absolute best LPs of the Baldur's Gate games that I have ever seen. His LPing style is one of a kind. Not foul mouthed at all, beyond some minor curses here and there. Sadly, his channel hasn't been updated in quite a while due to Real Life occuring.

and

SplatterCatGaming - Something about his voice. I don't know what it is, but he's very easy to listen to. Provides good commentary, too! Minor amounts of swearing.

Day[9]: You don't know Day[9]? What do you live under a rock? He is a high level Starcraft II commentator, casting games and giving analytic breakdowns on strategies... Well that is how he started his career. He also now does some really entertaining LPs, and also his Funday Monday section is amazing. Also his honest style of observational humor is great.

NorthenLion: Known for promoting indie games and being bad at roguelike-like games. He also has the NorthernLion Super Show, a twitch live stream, where he gets together with some other LPers and plays games that range from pretty awesome to the worst games ever made. Most of the fun is from his jokes rather than games, it is basically listening to a funny podcast with a game in the background to keep things moving.

Hat Films: An incredibly dysfunctional trio of guys that never grew out of their teens, and it is great. They make fun of each other a lot, really fun to watch. Also they recently got contracted by the Yogscast, so sometimes they do stuff together. Also... JOOOON SNOOOOOOOW!

GuavaMoment deserves a mention here, his X-Com Let's Plays (Hosted on the LPArchive) were so popular that if you name one of your soldiers after him in Firaxis' X-Com, it will activate a cheat/easter egg.

From my youtube subscription list:

Scott Manley From his About section: "Scott Manley is the Astronogamer - a rare fusion of gaming and science in one powerful combination. Able to deliver astonishing scientific facts while flying, or crashing digital simulations of spacecraft."
Obviously plays KSP. Also: Starflight
His original channel name was szyzyg - a powerful alignment indeed.

Arm4g3dd0nX Plays about everything. Reappeared after a 2 year break. Had a "sugest what i will play next" thing in place back then. Not sure if he will get back to it. Methodical and strategizing character.  RPGs and Sandboxes galore.

Akhier Dragonheart Lots of Cataclysm including dev builds. Started playing Spreadshee- i mean Aurora. Did i mention he's from Bay12? ... He's from Bay12.

Jesse Cox 500k Subscribers say he's a big one. Plays about everything. Including Highlights like "The Cat Lady" and "Beyond:Two Souls".

Crysyn Tons of Modded Minecraft. One of the "Mindcrack" people.

itmeJP Not playing PC games, but lets you watch him and his Friends play RPGs ... you know, like D&D and Dungeon World.

Most definitely posting to watch. Although, everyone I follow has already been mentioned, I may end up finding some new people to watch and eat even more of my free time! Whoo.

Hm... I think I'll pass on shameless self-promotion for now... I'm still a newb and I'm anything but notable. Maybe in another 6-12 months... :P

Well, I wasn't planning on advertising on Bay12, especially since I'm just starting out, but since you went to the trouble of making a thread and all... I'm new to this and feeling out the best way to do it, so expect the quality of the videos to go up as I get the hang of things. I've only got a few so far, another uploading now. I haven't made the channel pretty yet, but if this continues to be fun, I'll make it nicer. For the moment I have no plans to monetize, so I'm really just doing it for fun. I don't swear too much. Very little, really. I've got a pretty unusual voice. You're all welcome to watch.

Aira's Clips

I'm starting a Let's Play of Sunless Sea now, because someone requested it. Thinking of also doing one of the new DF. I will be doing mostly games that other people don't do very often, or unusual ones, or approaching normal ones in an unusual way. I try to keep things humorous and positive, without all the rage I see so often in LPs.

That is all! Wish me luck, friends. : ) And I'm definitely open to constructive feedback, if anyone has any suggestions. I know I'm not exactly an expert at this just yet!

Criken!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9HhYAGIWdk
Some sorta North Murrican.  Content is often FPS shooters, but he mostly just plays for the funny bits.  Is usually really quiet, and likes making dumb faces when given the opportunity.
Light to moderate swearin'.

Birgirpall!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=js04iW7JVEc
Some sort of Swede, I think?  No special focus on any genre, but also plays for the funny bits.  Usually does 'I Broke: [game]' videos, which are bug/ragdoll and AI weirdness sorts of videos.  Much louder than Criken, laughs a lot.  Usually has other people talking in the background.
Moderate to heavy swearin'.

SeaNanners.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDQx-guzx2s
I used to watch he, but his vids have been really boring lately.  Plays GMod multiplayer games most often, which are named in the video title.  Videos are extremely short highlights clips, rarely more than 5 minutes, often more like 3 or 4.  Other LPers show up in his vids a lot - Markiplier and Cry, and GaseousMexican or whatever (who is one of the real highlights for crazy voices, as the above link shows).  Once again, funny bits.  Facecam.  A seemingly rare trait for LPers, also: he's actually good at video games.
Pretty heavy swearin'.

Critikal, or penguinz0!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oaH3VighGU
Nonsensical rambling while playing terrible games you say.
Pretty heavy swearin'.

DARK SOULS, YOU SAY?
DamnNoHtml, aka Jund on Livestream.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgJQp4TbSlM
Does some derpy stuff, is pretty good.
Unsure of swearing.

Limit Breakers.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2P1eKThZG-g
I don't actually know anything about them except that the above is my favorite Dark Souls 2 video so far.

DarkProjectMayhem!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnQ2wK5L5QQ
Spiritual+ successor to RedRosie, in that he uses the same character and is quality.  Creative shenanigans, using the more indirect spells of the game, and trolling.
Minimal swearing.

Then there's the usual array of EpicNameBro, OnlyAfro, VaatiVidya, Yukas, Yamimash, Mriwont4get, etc.  Shout out for GrimDisaster, though, who isn't active at all, but is still the best for Wrath of the Darkwraith and Manly Miner Men.

BradPhusion.  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNu61DlWxat2deDH3c0Y2nw
I'm not a big follower of his, but I liked his SCIENCE! of gravity generator asteroid rail-guns in Space Engineers.
Minimal swearing, I think.

DarkWolfDeltas.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTRQLNlbHKg
I don't really watch she either, but she's got a longplay of Sakura Wars 5 up, so she's a baller.

Macey Dean!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HK24KzXeLo#t=1287
DED.  Did KSP videos, with a really nice birth-of-space-travel series of corporate warfare and militarized KSP ships.  All stock.
Minimal swearing.

I also watch Scott Manley, who is cool, but he's been mentioned already.

I knew someone on these forums had to know Critikal. Watching him play n64 games with a ROM corrupter are among some of the few videos that have brought me to tears with laughter.

Also, so it's not like I'm not contributing
Sips, of Canada. He is a member of the Yogscast, so that might turn some people off. Despite sometimes being kind of odd, his humor is genuinely entertaining. He's pretty bad at games, but does read comments left on his videos to fix his mistakes. Swearing does tend toward the middle and above level of frequency.

Two of my favorites.

Klyka has godawful english and he's pretty boring (still love him), but infrequently he has some really really great moments.

Helloween is the best.

RPGenie. DED. Played a lot of RPGs (Might and Magic series), also some Kirby stuff.

There was another LPer which did a lot of obscure anime games,
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
, including the absolutely hilarious review of Touhou Soccer, but sadly he's taken down his channel quite a few years ago and all information was lost.  :(

I could swear he had more, but the Swat 4 one is pretty hilarious...
