You're going to need a slighty better example than just a single roll there Kj :P

[[Hrothgar is noble, if a terrible drunk. He won't allow any slavery going on. Just a heads up, I'm with the 'Keep her alive' camp.]]

Hrothgar glared at the boars attempting to gore, charge, and dent him. "No evil has claimed me yet. I'll show you why!" he says as he readjusts his grip on the boar's tusks and attempts to snap its neck.

Attack the boar

[Ignore the flavor, I'm still going with the axe attack stats. Just trying to do something fun. Original plan was to try to suplex the boar. But I'm gonna save that one.]

No. I wont die once! Because I'm the only competent one in the group besides Hrothgar.

The Merry Runners(I:20,2,20,7,16,16)
Worroca strikes from the side(10+3)(4+2), leaving a nasty wound on one of the boars. There something no quite right, you think to yourself, as you move your blade back.

Weseal casts once more(1!) the spell blows up in your face(-2 to anything next turn that not improved by flailing around).

Kyle starts his attack, letting loose an arrow(4+2) that merely skims the boar's hide.

Hrothgar(19-2) grips the boar neck and twists(3,2+2). A sharp crack is heard.

Benoit shoots(12+2) and scores a direct hit(4). The boar seem to not notice the arrow.

Annie stabs(3+2(non-moving)), but the sword only damages the fur on the beast.

The Temple Boars
Boar A continue to cook(2). It(13-2(held)) conks(1-1-1) Hrothgar in the head.

The other boars move to attack others. Boar B attacks Worroca(1!) who turns the attack around(19)(3+2) carving some more of the boar.

Boar C continue the attack on Annie(19)(1-1-1) lightly bashing her.

Boar D join the beat on the girl club(3), but seem to fail the point of it.
The Merry Allies
Joan, seeing that the other boars are doing other things, tries to finish the nearly dead one(5+2(non-moving). And she misses, somehow.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
No one is notable hurt.

How can it be simple? It costs twice as much health as yours!
Besides, you're generalizing from an estimated three seconds of combat. Six, tops.

And look at the next turn, where you can't hit a boar charging at you! And my god, the dice hate me!

Flail at the boar with the second-lowest health at the time.

Well, Bio is the simplest spell in the life school. Still, a blast of fire is easier then turning a small part of the target blood into poison(what poison depend on the race/species of target. Also, it possible to poison some golem since some acids count as poison to magic.).

Try to rip the boars head off.

[Again, use axe damage for this]
