Hm...  Maybe I'd find more dates as an exotic artisinal fruit?
(Pun intended, but I know I could date just fine if I put effort into it.  I manage to... date a little anyway, which is pretty crazy IMHO.)

Had guys' night in with a buddy yesterday. Homemade tacos al pastor (with a not-entirely-successful attempt at making our own corn tortillas), Back to the Future, and about 4 liters of beer between the two of us. Was fun.

Today started off with an eggs-and-bacon breakfast with hot sauce and Back to the Future II, because gotta keep the spacetime continuity going, right?


Back home now, with chocolates to appease the girlfriend while she combats the Curse of the Red Queen.

I singlehandedly did my best to defend my basic existence, for... it might have been two whole hours.
But then some sane people joined in and were, at least apparently, cis-women.  And were appalled at what they saw.

And the end result is that...  I mean, the previous participants kept saying some *viciously* hateful shit, which I only tolerated out of jaded acceptance... 
It was like a cloud breaking.  And the bullies didn't just recede, they became people again.  As did the newcomers.  And we had some chatroom fun together, and-

It just supports my hope that every hateful memelord is a bit of opposition from becoming just another person.  And we must dissent forgive.
