Ended up drinking PBR last night because the bartender misheard my (probably mumbled, admittedly) request for Melbourne Bitter.
Turns out, the PBR there is actually ridiculously cheap by PBR standards... a tall can of it only cost me fifty cents more than a little tinnie of MB. :o
Gosh darn I love PBR. I just wish it was that cheap somewhere else...

Want it cheaper?

Try anywhere but fucking Australia.

Anyway, I've happily discovered that a full bottle of Sauvignon Blanc fits perfectly inside my big beer mug. Too bad it's empty now.

A six pack of decent beer is 7.99 USD here. Come to America Yoink. We sell alcohol cheap.

Okay, so I might or might not have acquired a favorite bar.
They have a yuuge variety of beer, plus they serve pretty good burgs, plus they're in the city center AND they're not ungodly expensive or terribly ostentatious. The owner draws cartoony pictures of nerdy shit and puts them up on the walls. It's very nice.

Things:
Chocolate Jack, an imperial stout with a very coffee-like taste. Extra thicc. If it was any thicker, one would have to eat it with a spoon.
Looking for a Human, made by a Moscow brewery. Kind of a sour brown ale sort of thing? Really cool color. Refreshing.
Sasha Grape, also local. Some sort of unfiltered monstrosity with grapefruit in it. Good for porn jokes, but I think one pint was enough for me.

As someone who partakes in the consumption of this substance known as alcohol...I am surprised I have not see this thread until now...I suppose I should hop in and see what sort of shenanigans I can partake in on this virtual pub of a thread.

Yah, newbie, or at least be excellent :P
(clearly a joke but so's this)

Way too busy to get drunk right now, but I am having a very tasty real beer.  Happily drinking trash really does help me appreciate beer with actual flavor, yum!  Variety pack, too.

Skål! Din Förgrömmade bövel *Hic*

Non-English cider is terribly weak, but it is excellent for maintaining a workable level of inebriation, when taken in quantity. It will ensure a soft landing, for all body-parts (except for the kidneys, who will work ordinary hours and complain).

I gave my 60 day notice today, heh yesterday.  Spent much of the day packing my precious books into free boxes from the ABC liquor store.

So many emotions.  Political stuff.  But I spewed them on my friend-group-chat.  More's the pity, but meh, heh.

Hard liquor sucks!  I am literally doing this to soften emotions, and it just accentuates them.  With a vicious bent!  Makes me cruel.  I don't like it.
Beer-drunk is bad too, in its way.  The hatred is more self-directed, but still.

Wine-drunk, I have some damn good ideas, many of which I've saved.  Some of which I posted.  A very few of which were acknowledged, heh.

But yeah.  This hard liquor is...  too raw.  I might receive a personal vision, but it's for me to interpret, not you.  Yous.
