I feel I should mention that I drank a lot last night. No hangover so far, but then I haven't slept properly yet so it could still happen.
Also I don't really remember much of what went on last night, but at least I'm too tired to wonder too much.

I feel like I can relate to that, but I'm having trouble making sense of it right now. 
Not so much a headache, at least not yet (it'll probably kick in once I leave my room and start doing stuff), but I'm feeling really sluggish.
Like a slug. A slug that likes to drink. A lot.

Edit: looking back I am actually rather impressed at how much I managed to drink last night, and how long I kept going.
That was like, drinking from 5 PM until I don't know when. And I still have- wait, fuck, according to my bank account I spent $80 too much. >.>
That was my drinking money for next Sunday, damnit!

Damn, that was a nice bottle of wine. Excuse me while I go genuflect in the corner. Tomorrow, a Shiraz! Then Thursday, if I'm feeling cheeky, a Shiraz Cabernet blend. Nothing can possibly go wrong with this plan.

Crap crap I had some nice cab-sav because my throat's really sore again from this stupid cold but now there's a conference call in half an hour and I'm wondering if I had too much.  And there's some last minute preparation I need to do, and some stuff that I put off.

And also I heard from the grapevine (ha!) that one of the more... vocal participants had an unpleasant experience last weekend, and will probably be jumping at any chance to make a scene.

Mn, it'll be fine, but I just need to focus and finish this prep work.  I don't have to talk much, particularly with this cold.
...  Also heck, I guess it's obvious I drank this much in order to remain calm despite that guy.  I didn't know I was doing that, but in retrospect.

Also this is an 11PM call, not a board meeting.  Even the boss has mentioned having a beer on it, it's largely a social thing anyway.
Will be good if I finish this preparation though...

As I've had a good amount of alcohol tonight, I figure I may as well list it.

I've had - and not necessarily in this order -
2 Caesars
2 tequila shots
A pornstar shot
A skittles shot, whatever the hell that was
A Jägerbomb

Huh, that's about it. I thought I had more for some reason. It didn't really hit me that hard at all, I could only feel it to the slightest of degrees even though I hadn't really eaten all day. No water in between it either. Of course, I do know I'm not 100% sober and thus can't really give a wholly accurate reading of my own condition - I'm currently chugging as much water as I can fit in order to flush it out of my system - but it didn't hit me nearly as hard as I thought it would on an empty stomach.

Guess I may be building up a slight tolerance for the stuff.

Currently drinking: Lindemann's Gentleman's Collection 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon

Fortified with a dash of tawny which mellows the tannins nicely, it's a rather nice drop to finish the evening. Plus, the label's just incredible, great for displaying when you have guests.
