I've stopped getting hangover headaches lately. I wonder why that is?

Has something to do with the type of booze, I think. Bum wine and coloured spirits are consistently headache-inducing, vodka much less so, and – miraculously – last night's 20+ drinks of beer did absolutely nothing headache-wise. (All the other hangover symptoms are there, though.)

Beer is wholesome and nutritious; even the toucan knows it's good for you.

Could be the red wine headache if you are noticing it for red-wines specifically.  I can't drink them at all.

Speaking of, skittle moonshine down the hatch. (It's as disgusting as it sounds, dissolving skittles in any alcohol is stupid.)

Haha eww, that sounds sweet.  Too sweet!  Like the "Best Damn hard root beer" I had last week.  My friend and I looked into that some, apparently some root beers like that are literally sweet root beer + rum (IE fermented molasses).  I'm not use to things that sweet, even though I drink rum.

Rum+V8 works sooooo well, though, every time I try it.  Gotta learn to pace it!  I downed the entire 64oz of V8 in like 4 hours...  And when I'm used to tasting every shot, it's easy to overshoot.

Just a couple Blue Moons tonight, with a lot of orange...  Stupid cold.  I'm not coughing much, yet, so I'm mostly drinking water for now.  But red wine really helps with coughing, so I might get some in a day or two.

How'd ya do it?

1) Bought jug of apple juice
2) Sprinkled in champagne yeast & nutrients.
3) Cleaned a stopper and a S-shaped airlock.
4) Put airlock + stopper into jug, filled airlock with whisky.
5) Waited a week and a half for bubbles to stop bubbling.
6) Put cap back on and put in fridge for drinking.

I did have a problem where the bubbles got too bubbly and foam filled up the airlock for a few days which might have been bad.

My second batch(currently brewing) I put some extra apple concentrate juice into the apple juice, which should at least up the alcohol content in theory.  If its going to be gross, I'd rather it be gross and strong.

Mmm, delicious red wine.  Bota-box, so I don't feel pressured to finish a bottle in one go.

But, I think I'm hitting a mark where I should stop posting in other threads.  I'm really not *drunk*, but I'm buzzed, and feeling a growing urge to wax *opinionated*.  Going to take it easy and savor things, and not make a fool of myself.

Really though, I tend to misjudge alcohols when I switch them.  Doesn't help that I've had trouble sleeping due to a freakin cold!

Which, wow, I don't even feel right now.  Hooray for wine, my throat is no longer sore.  Works even better than I remember.  I thought liquor worked, but it didn't really...  More makes things worse, because it's really harsh.

Edit:  My friends are great, earlier today I got to talk about Space Marines and why they would win against Master Chief, even though Master Chief is so much cooler.
